Where City Life Ended, And Angling Began…
Happy Landing Fishing
This is not the home of the Happy Landing Lodge on Pipestone Lake in Ontario–it used to be, but Happy Landing unfortunatley closed after the main lodge burned down in the spring of 2008 (which thanks to my first child being born, was the last year I was able to go on a major fishing trip like the ones at Happy Landing).
In fact, other than being a former customer, we have zero connection with Matt, Happy Landing, or any of the lodges in the area.
But had a truly great time fishing on Pipestone & Yoke–fishing with my dad & some of his friends, the shore lunches, the whole deal. Always kind of wanted to have a website in the fishing world, and recently stumbled across one of our old Happy Landing Lodge brochures, and saw the website listed–was curious what ever happened to it, and low and behold, the domain was available, so here we go.
Not 100% sure what will be done with the site in the long run, but we’ve got a home page, and a few other things in the works.
This is me fishing…a long time ago…but not at Happy Landing Lodge. I’m not actually even sure if we have photos from back then–will have to look on some old memory cards.
